The Phenomenon of Monchichis

Let me ask you something about Monchichi dolls. What are they? They are the Goofy of puppets, right? Are they monkeys? Are they their own animal?

And while we're on the subject, what is Goofy anyway? Isn't he a dog? Why does he get to walk around on legs and wear pants and use the toilet, and poor Pluto has to walk around with his balls out, shitting on the ground?

But I digress. I still sing the Monchichi song. Talk about good marketing! I never owned one of these mysterious creatures. I owned a Koosa, though. Remember the Koosa? I sense another post coming....

In the meantime, I hope the Monchichi song doesn't worm its way into your head now!

Tootie Knows All About The Facts of Life

Kim Fields, a.k.a., Tootie from The Facts of Life, had a baby boy over the weekend with her boyfriend, 30 year-old Broadway actor Chris Morgan. Word is they named the little bundle Sebastian Alexander.

Why didn't they name him Bradley Garrett? (If you get the joke, we both need to get a life.)

And look at Tootie, robbing the cradle! Isn't she about 40?

What The Fug?: Brendan Fraser

I used to think Brendan Fraser was pretty hot. He did one of my favorite movies of old, School Ties, and wasn't half bad in The Mummy or With Honors.




But something has happened to Brendan. I am not sure if he thinks this is a good look or is one of those guys that just can't let go and shave it all off. But this...this is just unacceptable.
